Home Automation Business

It’s certainly exciting knowing you control the destiny of your home-based business. Whether you market affiliate products or something else, you are in charge. Being in charge comes with a set of responsibilities involving marketing your business. It’s wise to employ article distribution using article marketing automation and other ways to promote your home business.

Any business you undertake requires getting the attention of your niche market. There’s a lot of competition for consumers’ attention on the Net. However, there exist many options for reaching a significant portion of your target market. Here are 10 ways to do so:

1. Article Writing

A good way to build credibility is through writing content. First, you write articles rich with useful information. Next you submit your work to a quality content distribution service.

Then, you use the article marketing automation feature of this service. You schedule in advance your article distribution. The service takes over while you move on to some of the other marketing tasks listed below. The service proceeds to distribute your articles and your website links to the best publishers on the Internet.

2. Blog Writing

Start a simple blog related to the products you promote. Make short, frequent posts to this blog. Include links within the post back to your website or affiliate product site. Do this consistently and watch your website traffic grow. Make your posts informative and entertaining and watch your blog popularity grow as well.

3. Blog and Social Forum Commentary

Visit other blogs and forums on the web devoted to your area of interest. Offer useful tips, advice, and information and resources to assist others who are asking questions. Provide a link back to your blog, website, or affiliate site as you do. Make sure you give unique and highly useful info. Don’t come across as a huckster as this hurts your credibility as an online businessperson.

4. Make Video Representations of Your Articles

Today, people are increasingly looking for informational videos on a host of websites. Take one of your articles and present it as a vibrant video. Use quality color, contrast and such to engage your audience. Make sure you set the timing right so the reader isn’t rushed reading each panel of text. Include your website link at the bottom of each frame, and at the beginning and end of the presentation

5. Film a Product Demonstration

Promote your affiliate or other products with more than words in an article, or pictures on your website. Use “moving pictures” demonstrating exactly how a product works. If a picture’s worth a thousand words, moving pictures must be worth a whole lot more. Upload this demonstration to a video portal to build interest for your product.

6. Get Customer Testimonials

People love to know, before they buy, that products work well for others. Ask satisfied customers of your product to write a testimonial. Ask them to describe their experiences and ask them how your product helped them. Include these testimonials on your website.

7. Go to Local Business Expos and Shows

Is your city or town running a small business expo or something similar? If so, set up a small booth and promote your business and products there. Give out postcards, brochures and such promoting your website as well. When people get home they can further investigate all products you offer on your site. You can do these offline activities to get potential customers online and onto your site.

8. Offer Incentives Online

As people visit your blog or website, do you have any incentives waiting for them? This could be a coupon code to redeem for product or a free report. Incentives encourage people to take action. They may try a product because of the coupon savings. They may opt-in to receive a report and a newsletter from you, which means you build your list.

9. Conduct an Email Campaign

As you build a good-sized list of emails, start planning an email campaign. Emails sen 00004000 t out regularly keep your business name fresh with your niche. Make these emails informative and promotional at the same time.

10. Create Your Own Banner Ads

Promote your products or affiliate products through creating unique banner ads. You can get free programs for doing so through searching the web. The result is your banners don’t look like a myriad of others on the Web. Your business is unique so present it as such with specialized graphics.

Try most or all of the above suggestions for promoting your home business. Set up a schedule of marketing activities and stick to it each month. Article distribution using article marketing automation and the other methods do work when performed consistently.

  3. QUESTION:
Do home automation + state of art meeting rooms business have any potential in chennai, india.?

    • ANSWER:
I would say no. There are very few in India who can afford such services. The new “upper middle class” in India is mostly made up of computer programmers and phone solicitors who probably still believe their jobs are a little more upscale than they really are. A very small group of executives runs things (your target customer).

There are HUGE riots in India. Many are not pleased about the wealth foreign companies are making using cheap, Indian labor. Most of the people in India a very poor and live in boxes. Many of those who work for the new companies are still very poor. The companies pay disproportionately high sums to a few who can speak English, creating a class of reasonably wealthy phone solicitors who think they’re better than their fellow Indians. Coca-Cola and Pepsi have recently been banned in India to give you an idea of the mood there. Any big expansion of business / wealth in India in the near future is uncertain at best. The population of India is so poor, few businesses will tend to grow within India. The only real wealth is in the hands of foreign companies who set up shop there. That will not change quickly.

    • ANSWER:
      Assuming you have your certs.
New homes if you can get it. You work in the same general area for awhile, the work is easy pretty much all you have to do is go live from the meter to the box, your apprentice does everything else. Great pay and no home-owner headaches.

Telecom is low voltage, I dont think you need a license.

Commercial is good too, if you can get it. There are a lot of hungry contractors out there willing to do things…a little out of code to get the job.

  8. QUESTION:
Which is better , to work in a big stable company with many employees or in a small but developing one ?
I work in a big organization ” Orange Business Services ” as a customer technical support , I’m still junior , have many many collegues doing the same job as mine. I’ve been working there for 8 months
I have another chance to work in a small developing company in the home automation field .
    Which to choose ??

    • ANSWER:
Depends on what you want from our career. Some folks want, above all other things, a steady paycheck and the feeling of job stability. For many, a big company provides that…far less than it used to, but still more so than the small start up.

If what you want is more excitement, the opportunity to make a difference, the rush associated with risk and “going where no man has gone before” – or simply the satisfaction of building something new – for many the small developing company has a great attraction. But there are risks associated – the small company can fail for all sorts of reasons – mismanagement, poor financial discipline, too much competition, etc.

I’ve worked for both kinds of companies, and prefer the small developing ones – your mileage may vary.

Best to you – hopefully this at least provides some food for thought.

  9. QUESTION:
If the guy that owns the business that employs you has a loss of revenue (tax increase) will he hire or fire?

Same thing. Less money = less spending unless you are the government.

However, automation is an investment and you can make more with less people.

    • ANSWER:
That depends on the necessity of the position.
He may instead remain stagnant and neither hire nor fire
because he cannot afford to do either.
